Dear Colleagues,

It is my privilege to inform you that our journal "Turkish Neurosurgery" has been accepted for indexing at Index Medicus, Medline (Pubmed). This has been achieved thanks to your support by sending your manuscripts and the tremendous efforts of previous editors and national and international editorial board members and referees since 1989. Our new goal is to improve the scientific quality of our journal and we will apply for indexing in the Science Citation Expanded when we reach the desired scientific level. I cordially believe that we will also be accepted to the Science Citation Index in the future. Since we have already started to receive many international manuscripts, we kindly request from our referees to provide their comments in the English language in a precise and timely manner. I want to thank to all those who have contributed to our journal on behalf of the editorial board and kindly request your ongoing support for Turkish Neurosurgery.
